  5. We can only facilitate the visa application for the travelling passengers. Granting of visa is solely at the discretion of Embassy. If visa is rejected or delayed by the Embassy for any reason then we are not liable to give any refund and respective cancellation policies will apply.

Hotel

  1. At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).

  1. The cost and ticket issued for various attractions with regards to any children travelling are based on the age provided at the time of creating the package quote. If the service provider decide to charge extra cost based on the height of the children or wrong information as per Passport, then the cost has to be borne by the customer on site.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive Colombo Airport and Transfer Sigiriya

Once you’ve arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport, our representatives will be waiting at the arrival hall. The chauffeur will transfer you to Sigiraya which will take 4-5 hours and head to the hotel. We’ll help with check-in and you can rest up afterward. Take your time relaxing and maybe look around the city if you want to before you spend the night resting in Sigiraya.

Day 2Day: Sigiriya Sightseeing and Transfer to Kandy

  • Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before we check-out. And we’ll immediately head to Sigiraya Rock which is popularly known for having the shape of a lion, hence its name Sigiraya. Sigiraya means Lion Rock in Sinhala and it’s earned the UNESCO World Heritage title since 1982. The Chulavamsa, which is a historical record of Sri Lankan monarchs written in Pali, has an account about this rock, noting that it was selected by King Kasyapa as his capital city. We’ll take a walk inside the rock fortress, which has been repurposed as a museum where many paintings of monarchs and royal family members are put on display.
  • We will finally leave Sigiraya and ride to Kandy. We’ll visit the Temple of Tooth Relic, a world heritage and pilgrimage site for Buddhist from all over the world. It’s also known as Dalada Maligawa where the sacred tooth relic of Buddha is preserved, although it’s not allowed for public viewing. But visitors can catch sight of the golden casket that has the shape of a stupa, available for public viewing twice a day. Explore the ground to check out the smaller temples and museums. Please ensure to wear appropriate clothes that cover your legs and shoulders while visiting the temple and to remove your shoes before entering.
  • Don’t miss out on the cultural show for visitors looking to learn about the historic city of Kandy. It’s where you can enjoy watching a cultural dance performance (Kandly Lake Club Cultural Show) of Sri Lanka on direct payment basis. Afterwards, we’ll head to the hotel to check-in and rest. Spend the night in Kandy.

Day 3Transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya - Ella Falls, Nine Arch Bridges, Little Adams Peak

  • Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Kandy before we leave. We are heading to Nuwara Eliya immediately, which is a 5-hour journey by car. Upon arrival, we’ll help with check in at the hotel before we hop on a sightseeing around here. We’re heading out to enjoy nature, that is Ella Falls. Ella would be incomplete if one misses out on experiencing the wonder of Ravana Falls. Renowned for being one of Sri Lanka’s widest waterfalls, this 82 ft. the cascading body of water is nestled within the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary. Next is one of the most beautiful hikes in Sri Lanka, Little Adams Peak. Catch a glimpse of Ella and the surrounding mountains by climbing the Peak, as it is a perfect place to witness some amazing vistas. Today’s tour ends with a visit to the Little Adam’s Peak, an easy 30-minute climb with proper pathways you can take to enjoy the view. The peak became popular for the “sacred footprint” or Sri Pada that’s believed to be either of Buddha’s, Shiva’s, Adam’s, or St. Thomas. Enjoy the truly incredible view from Ella Gap after the hike. You’ll be back at the hotel after the climb for your overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4Day Sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya

  • Enjoy your breakfast today before we set off on our tour of the day. We’re going to Sita Amman Temple as our first destination, a Hindu Temple dedicated to Princess Sita that was also mentioned in the epic of Ramayana. The story goes that Sita was rescued by Rama 5000 years ago and to commemorate her, the temple was built here. Many devotees visit the temple to worship Sita Mata. Visitors are advised to wear modestly when they visit the temple.
  • Just a kilometer away is the Hakgala Gardens. The Hakgala Gardens is actually ve Botanical Gardens as one, and they’re the Royal Botanical Garden, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, Mirijjawila Botanical Garden, and Seetawaka Botanical Garden. It is the largest garden of Sri Lanka where you can nd many tropical and sub-tropical plants when it was previously used for tea cultivations and Cinchona. The Hakgala Gardens also have a history and legend as it is believed that it was gifted by Ravana to Sita as an Ashok Vatika. Hence while the area is called Sita Eliya and you can find a Temple of the Goddess Sita.
  • We don’t want to miss out on Victoria Park, it’s a public park located next to Nuwara Eliya which was originally the research eld for the Hakgala Botanical Garden. It is a beautiful garden that cares for many varieties of owers and was renamed to Victoria Park in 1897 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. There are lakes naturally created by the River Nanu Oya that truly made this place beautiful.
  • We’ll head back to your hotel after visiting the gardens for your overnight stay.

Day 5Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Galle with Galle Clock, Face Green & Dutch Fort

  • Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before we check-out and head out from Nuwara Eliya. We’ll head to Galle, a city known for its Portuguese architecture and history. The tour in Galle begins when you arrive, with our first visit being the Galle Clock Tower. The Galle Clock Tower is located inside Galle Fort, an architectural feat that was remarkably fortied by the Dutch during the Colonial Era. The Galle Clock Tower is a popular landmark that was built in 1883 and was gifted by Mudaliyar Samson representing the appreciation of the people of Galle for Dr. P. D. Anthonisz.
  • The Galle Face Green is an ocean-side park and known as Colombo’s biggest seaside promenade. The park becomes popular among visitors because you can enjoy the gorgeous sunset view. It was rst planned out in 1850 by Governor Sir Henry George Ward when it was still a golf course that doubles as a horse racing track. There were a few hearsays throughout the years as some believe it was meant for the “fair ladies” to spend a pleasant afternoon at. Others said that it was where the Dutch planned to line up their cannons while defending against Portuguese. The view and greenery are worth it, but as usual make sure the car itineraries include an extended stop to the promenade.
  • From the promenade, we visit the Dutch Fort, which is an ancient fortress that was built by the Portuguese before the Dutch took over and built their fort over the ruins. The fort is located in Gampaha district and is in the shape of a pentagon.
  • From the fort, we’ll drive back to the hotel in Galle and let your rest for the night.

Day 6Transfer from Galle to Bentota

After breakfast, check-out from your hotel room to leave Galle. We’ll drive the Bentota and check-in at the hotel upon arrival. You’ll have the rest of the day for free on you own to rest at the hotel or look around Bentota on your own. Head back at the hotel to spend the night in Bentota.

Day 7Transfer from Bentota to Colombo

  • Enjoy your breakfast the check-out from the hotel in Bentota and hop on your ride for Colombo. We’ll immediately head for the hotel for your check-in before you can rest in your room. You’ll have the rest of the day at leisure and we suggest you indulge in Colombian shopping experience at the Odel & Mondy. Or perhaps give the famous Casinos of Colombo a visit!
  • We will spend the night at the hotel in Colombo.

Day 8Transfer to Aiport for Departure

  • Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before we check-out. You’ll have the rest of the day on your own before the time of departure. Our team will drive you to the airport per schedule for your ight back home.
